The Family Doctor
Understanding any individual’s stress entails diagnostic evaluation of brain function and the attachment network that one lives in. We are always part of a complex relationship system – as a self, as a spouse, as a son or daughter, as a sibling.
When one member of a family is ill, troubled, or self-sabotaging, the entire system can become stressed-out. Reactive changes in behavior trigger feelings of blame, self-pity, and resentment. When this experience becomes chronic, family functioning can be derailed.
I travel to help families. My work takes me to local home visits, to consultations in Italy, a castle in the Cotswolds, London, Monte Carlo, and many states in the U.S. I have extensive experience in helping high-net-worth families.
Brain Training
I developed Logosoma (word-body) Brain Training (LBT) in 1985 and introduced it to the public in my book, Phantom Stress (2010). LBT reveals what your brain is doing, and I coach you how to manage it.
Our brain is constantly determining our sense of security in our relationships. Learning to master stress within yourself will change the nature of all your emotional attachments.
I have added Cambridge Brain Science (CBS) to my practice to empower LBT. CBS is an online brain health assessment service that is engaging and enjoyable to use. It produces a reliable and scientifically validated cognitive assessment report in as little as 15 minutes.
When you learn these skills with your spouse and family, truly dramatic changes for emotional security can occur for all. You will recover childlike wonderment in everyday activities, enjoy creative exploration and experimentation, and become playful with each other. I call it serious fun.

I developed Logosoma (word-body) Brain Training in 1985. My mission is to help people understand their brain/mind/family stress and teach them to master their relationship stress. I make fact-based evaluations of individuals, couples, and families to create a program that fits their unique circumstances.
As a physician, my goals for every patient are to create treatment alliances that recruit creative resilience to the painful facts of their lives. Together, the doctor and patient can activate nature’s healing powers by training the brain’s neuroplasticity and teaching new ways of emotional communication within their mind/body and family relationships.
